Why don't we illuminate our manuscripts anymore?

  1. These works of art are absolutely beautiful in addition to their religious significance and meanings. The writing itself is beautiful enough to be art, and I don;t even know what the words say.

  2. These phitographs are all beautiful and I loved looking at them, but you don't really provide any additional information about them or even what illuminated text is. I would have liked so more historical context and stuff.

  3. I've always had an interest in different religions, and I really like this art because it unifies the religions, in some way. I also really like the use of gold in the paintings. Gold is a universal symbol of wealth and richness, which each religion is; rich with moral values.
