Birdnesses

Constantin Brancusi 's "Bird in Space" is birdness at its most abstract: pure form
Gill Brown uses linear curves to create the impression of an ostrich.

This sculpture from an unknown artist uses a solid piece of material and defies expectations of what makes something a  bird by not including wings, and giving the impression of flight by including a constant upward tension.
